This Cancellation & Refund Policy applies to tours and charters booked with Bimini Tours & Adventures. It should be read with our Terms & Conditions. Please cancel in writing (email or WhatsApp) so we have a time stamp.
Shared and scheduled tours
- Cancel 48 hours or more before the reserved start time and you receive a full refund of the tour price you paid (excluding non-refundable third-party fees, if any).
- Cancel less than 48 hours before start time and a 50% cancellation fee applies. The remaining 50% is refunded.
- No-shows are not refunded. Please allow extra time for docks, golf carts, and island traffic.
Private charters
Private charters need more planning (boat, crew, and calendar). For a full refund, cancel at least 7 days before the reserved trip. Cancellations inside 7 days are not refunded unless we cancel or the weather policy below applies.
If we cancel or move the trip
If we cancel your excursion, or we offer a new date that you cannot take, you receive a full refund of what you paid us for that booking. We always try to reschedule first when it is safe and you are still on-island.
Weather
- Every tour is weather permitting. The captain's call is final.
- We prefer to reschedule rather than cancel when the forecast allows.
- If the captain cancels because of weather, you receive a full refund (or a new date, if you prefer and space exists).
- Check email and WhatsApp 12–24 hours before departure for weather updates. During hurricane season (June–November) changes can come with short notice.
Feeling unwell, a change of mind after the cutoff, or missing a ferry / flight is treated as a guest cancellation or no-show — not a weather cancellation — unless we have canceled the trip.
How refunds are paid
Approved refunds go back to the original payment method where we can. We process them as soon as the cancellation is confirmed. Your bank or PayPal may take a few business days to show the credit. Card or processor fees charged by third parties are not always recoverable.
How to cancel
Email bookings@toursbimini.com or WhatsApp +1 (242) 826-8687 with your name, tour, and date. The notice time is when we receive the message, Bahamas local time.
Other purchases
Self-guided map passes, cycle rentals, and shop orders may have different timelines (for example, a pass that is already unlocked). Contact us before you cancel those — we will explain what we can refund in each case.
